A definitive cast partial denture post partial maxillectomy defect due to mucormycosis: A case report

Maxillectomy performed in acquired lesions is often very extensive or bilateral, sparing less hard and soft tissue the oral cavity. These defects need both surgical prosthetic rehabilitation. A definitive prosthesis inserted after complete healing, when patient accustomed to interim prosthesis. Definitive obturator warrants better retention stability needs a meticulous planning design for long-term use. This article explains about cast partial denture as post defect due mucormycosis.
